Production Technician (Malta based)

Applications are only being considered from candidates who are willing and able to relocate to Malta for this opportunity. Full time on permanent basis. Shift based. The Production Technician will be required to work on a shift basis while carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and deal with machine breakdowns and any necessary equipment upgrades. We are looking for a skilled Production Technician to join our team. The Production Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring that manufacturing procedures are carried out accurately, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Perform the necessary maintenance activities on assigned equipment. Maintenance can be related to breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance. Both activities must be performed by following Baxter's Global Procedures, as well as Baxter Malta's Local Procedures. Support the Engineering team in the installation and validation of new processes within the plant, process improvements, MIPs, SNCs, and NPDs. Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment requirements, policies, and procedures, including any process-specific requirements. Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities as instructed by the area Maintenance Manager.

Electrical qualification. Proven work experience as a Production Technician or in a similar role. Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Good physical condition and stamina. Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
