About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will serve as the primary driver of the relationship for a small portfolio of clients. You will provide high-touch, executive-level support, anticipate client needs, remove roadblocks, and connect clients with the right teams and solutions across Assurant. This is a strategic client-partnership position for someone who can build deep relationships, operate with autonomy, anticipate problems, ideate solutions, and lead through influence. You will work closely with Account Management teams and partner across a variety of other business areas to support client priorities, solve complex problems, and ensure a deepened relationship and exceptional client experience.
What You Will Do
Own the day-to-day relationship for assigned clients and serve as the primary liaison between the client and Assurant. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and maintain a proactive, high-touch communication approach. Understand each client’s business priorities, upcoming milestones, audits, risks, and service needs so concerns can be addressed before they become escalations. Respond to client questions and issues, identify the appropriate internal owners, and coordinate stakeholders through resolution. Partner closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams such as Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Technology, and other business areas. Lead and coordinate responses to complex client needs, including billing concerns, system or data-connection issues, communication/content updates, service questions, and event-driven needs such as catastrophe response. Develop recommendations based on program performance through financial analysis, report any challenges, and provide solutions and alternative recommendations to Client and/or Assurant. Advocate and manage change requirements for clients as specified by Assurant and the various supporting functional teams to comply with all business guidelines, state compliance, and governed statutes. Build strong internal and external networks to remove barriers and deliver timely, thoughtful solutions for clients. Participate in annual business reviews, quarterly business reviews, client meetings, and team meetings. Support relevant pieces of contracting or other client initiatives when needed, while maintaining primary focus on client relationship leadership. Monitor overall Operational service level agreements (SLAs) and work with operation teams to maintain contractual SLA performance. Required Experience & Skills: 3+ years of executive or strategic level support or account management to high-value clients. Excellent organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple client needs and competing priorities. Exceptional relationship-building skills to establish rapport and guide client conversations. Ability to travel approximately 15%–20% for client meetings, annual and quarterly business reviews, and other business or team meetings. What Else Is Helpful to Have? Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Prior or current experience in Mortgage Servicing or P&C Insurance Preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones #LI-Remote Pay Range: $74,600.00 - $124,700.00 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
