About the Program – The Finalyst Program (TFP) The Thermo Fisher Scientific 24-Month Finalyst Program (TFP) is designed to develop the next generation of Finance professionals who are passionate about contributing to the advancement of science. When you join Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will do important work. Supported by collaborative colleagues and backed by a global industry leader, you will gain exposure to real business challenges, build critical skills, and contribute directly to our success. Over this 24-month fixed-term program , trainees will undergo a structured series of rotations across Finance functions. Talents are carefully selected, consciously mapped, and placed into roles such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Operations Finance, or other specialized Finance teams, performing real work that impacts our business. Program Structure & Rotations Participants will complete 2 structured rotations across key Finance areas. Example rotation placements include: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Commercial Finance Operations / Manufacturing Finance Accounting & Controllership Tax or Treasury Internal Audit or Compliance Finance The program integrates: On-the-job training with hands-on business experience Mentorship from senior Finance leaders Networking opportunities with peers, managers, and global Finance professionals Performance coaching and career guidance throughout the program Upon successful completion, trainees may be considered for full-time opportunities within Thermo Fisher’s global Finance organization, subject to business needs and individual performance.
