About this role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Go-to-Market (GTM) Specialist to drive strategic growth initiatives across the Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports vertical. In this role, you will develop and execute industry-specific GTM strategies, build deep customer relationships, and work cross-functionally to accelerate AWS adoption among some of the world's most innovative organizations. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, business development, and industry expertise. Key job responsibilities GTM Strategy & Execution — Define, lead, and iterate on GTM motions tailored to MEGS customers, aligning with broader AWS sales plays and business objectives. Customer Engagement — Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, VPs) at target accounts, uncovering transformation opportunities and mapping them to AWS solutions. Cross-functional Collaboration — Partner with Account Managers, Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and Partner teams to deliver differentiated customer outcomes. Pipeline Development — Identify, qualify, and progress high-value opportunities through the sales cycle, contributing directly to revenue targets. Industry Thought Leadership — Represent AWS at industry events, produce compelling content, and serve as a subject-matter expert in media, entertainment, gaming, or sports technology trends. Sales Play Enablement — Develop repeatable, scalable sales plays and enablement materials that empower the broader field to sell into MEGS segments. Metrics & Reporting — Track pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and GTM motion effectiveness; iterate based on data-driven insights.
