About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer. In this role, you will: Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders Required Qualifications: 2 + years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications
Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) v12 and IBM MQ. Strong experience in ESQL development, message flow design, and Message Sets Experience in de velop ment in Java and S pring boot mi croser vice Working knowledge of DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Gradle, and JIRA. Hands on experience with RDBMS (preferably Oracle Exadata) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Experience leveraging AI assisted tools for code development, optimization, testing, and operational efficiency. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex integration environments. Experience with production support and incident resolution. Ability to work in Agile delivery teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Exhibit good learning curve to learn functional areas and own as an SME some of them Proactive and can work independently Job Expectations: Participate in design and development of applications under guidance from senior team members. Good understanding of MQ and Kafka integrations, including message publishing, consumption, and routing patterns. Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices, experience with CI/CD tools . Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and senior engineers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Contribute to team activities by sharing knowledge and supporting peers as needed. Follow architectural guidelines and operational best practices provided by senior engineers and architects. Continuously learn and apply new tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the role.
