Your tasks and responsibilities Material screening, development and testing (physico-chemical, mechanical, electromagnetic absorption) including aspects like high temperature performance. Modelling and understanding of EM absorbers. Becoming familiar with most advanced experimental, numerical and machine learning methods for analysing test data and for developing new materials. Transfer of polymer composite manufacturing processes from 2D to 3D (winding, resin transfermoulding (RTM)). Integration of functionality in 3D CFRP  (sub)components. Write scientific papers, technical reports, and present them at conferences and meetings.  Desired skills and qualifications Master degree in a field like Materials Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Physics. Office applications (Google Workspace). Python programming and basic understanding of using machine learning tools (would be pluses). Experience of working with polymeric composites (basics). Coupon manufacturing, physico-chemical and mechanical testing, and data analysis (basics). English (full professional command).
