At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!
We are looking for a Principal Identity Engineer to act as the technical authority across our entire Identity portfolio. Reporting into Identity Engineering leadership within Core Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for the architecture for our Zero Trust Identity program, the consolidation of our identity providers, the expansion of privileged access management, and the maturation of identity governance. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for an engineer who sets the technical direction, drives the hardest decisions, and brings deep expertise to the security-critical work that keeps our studios and players safe.
What You'll Do
• Serve as the principal technical architect for the Identity portfolio, owning end-to-end design across the consolidated identity provider strategy, privileged access, and identity governance.
• Architect and advance the Zero Trust Identity program, ensuring identity is the control plane for secure, conditional access across cloud and on-premises resources.
• Lead the consolidation and convergence of identity providers, unifying Okta Identity Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, and AWS IAM Identity Center under a coherent, governable architecture.
• Own the architecture and expansion of CyberArk privileged access management, hardening privileged account workflows, vaulting, and session controls.
• Drive the maturity of Saviynt identity governance and administration, including role-based access control, separation of duties, access certification, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle automation.
• Architect Active Directory modernization and cloud integration, reducing legacy dependencies while preserving operational continuity.
• Define and govern the Studio Identity & Resource Architecture (SIRA) group model and non-employee identity lifecycle to ensure consistent, auditable access across studios.
• Partner with the Network Engineering team on Palo Alto Cloud Identity Engine integration to extend identity context into network and threat-response decisions.
Serve as a senior technical driver on incident-response remediation, including privileged account hardening, phishing-resistant MFA, conditional access hardening, and inactive account remediation tied to the RIPPLECREW response.
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade software — identity automation services, custom connectors, and orchestration workflows — applying real software engineering discipline: version control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Lead architectural design for identity systems and integrations, producing reference architectures, design documents, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications that guide implementation across the Identity Engineering team and its partners.
• Build and own API-level integrations (REST, SCIM, SAML, OIDC) connecting Okta, Entra ID, Saviynt, and CyberArk to internal systems, replacing manual identity operations with code-first, repeatable
