As a CO+I Regional Datacenter Program Manager , you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's dedicated online services. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I DCPM, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities
Be empowered and accountable by modeling, coaching, and caring for your team Analyze and interpret project data to provide recommendations and strategic recommendations for datacenter-related operations models, support, and implementation plans Interpret customer requirements as they relate to standard operating procedures and drive parity between the two Collaborate across internal groups, external suppliers, and customers Document and improve processes around planning, implementation, operations, confidentiality, security, and compliance to ensure the work that is being done is securely, compliantly, efficiently, and per standards Participate in technical communities to stay informed of best practices and changes within the broader discipline and share them with the organization Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities Establish and enhance working relationships with customers Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams Perform day-to-day project check-in and update accordingly to manage project delivery and quality Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Qualification or equivalent AND 6+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments OR equivalent experience Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are
