Advanced Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting the SSP program Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment Contribute to full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines Support system integration, RESTful API design, and containerized deployments Produce and maintain technical documentation

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

js + PostgreSQL — frontend and relational database development TypeScript — strongly-typed JavaScript development Spring Boot — Java-based backend services Go / Java — backend microservices development RESTful API Design — interface design and implementation Docker & Containerization — container-based deployment workflows Agile Practices — Scrum / Kanban software development methodology

GitOps (e.g., FluxCD) — automated, declarative deployment pipelines Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) — asynchronous service communication Observability Stack — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry CI/CD Pipeline Experience — pipeline configuration and automation Kubernetes / Container Orchestration — container scheduling and management
