SENIOR ASSOCIATE, LP TRADE SETTLEMENT

Grade Level (for internal use): 08   The Team: Our dynamic Loan Operations team is responsible for managing critical processes including onboarding, data management, and client support for ClearPar users, ensuring operational excellence and high data integrity. Responsibilities and Impact: Serve as a subject matter expert, managing complex operational processes across the loan trade lifecycle, including onboarding, trade records, closings, and exception management, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence. Provide expert support and guidance to clients and internal partners, acting as a key escalation point for complex issues and proactively resolving them to minimize client impact. Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts by partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance systems, processes, and the overall client experience. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to all operational controls and risk management practices. Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices to foster team development and operational consistency. All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 3+ years of experience in Loan Operations, Financial Services, or Banking Operations with a strong understanding of syndicated loan market operations, ClearPar workflows, and industry standards (LMA/LSTA knowledge preferred). Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational processes, resolve client, trade, and system-related issues independently, applying exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives effectively in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse interactions. Resourcefulness, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to generate new ideas, actively collaborating within the team and understanding the impact of their own behavior. We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer. Working hours for this role are from 4 PM - 1 AM (MYT) Additional Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience mentoring junior team members and serving as a subject matter expert in loan operations. Strong knowledge of primary and secondary loan trading processes and LMA/LSTA market standards. Experience in leading process improvement initiatives, driving operational efficiencies, and participating in cross-functional projects.
