Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future As a Specialist III, Reliability , you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing reliability and turnaround activities that support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position combines technical expertise, project leadership, and operational planning to help maximize asset performance, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. What You'll Do
Lead SAP-driven maintenance activities, including scope development, work order strategy, job planning, scheduling, resource coordination, budgeting, and execution oversight for maintenance, repair, and modification.
Use SAP PM to manage maintenance workflows, equipment history, notifications, work orders, task lists, bills of material, and maintenance plans to improve planning quality, execution efficiency, and asset reliability. Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, capital projects, contractors, and vendors to ensure SAP-enabled work processes are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with plant priorities. Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability improvement efforts by leveraging SAP data, maintenance history, and failure trends to optimize asset performance and drive effective corrective actions. Identify operational, safety, environmental, and reliability risks within maintenance processes and ensure SAP work management practices support compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations. Drive continuous improvement in maintenance execution by analyzing KPIs, backlog, planning effectiveness, schedule compliance, and equipment performance data from SAP and related systems, then communicating insights and progress to stakeholders. Coordinate procurement, materials, contractor performance, and work execution schedules through SAP-integrated processes while promoting accountability, strong communication, and alignment with business objectives. Champion standardization and improvement of SAP maintenance master data, work processes, and QA/QC practices to strengthen data accuracy, work execution quality, and long-term reliability outcomes.
What You'll Bring – Required
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country. High School Diploma or GED. 5 or more years of relevant reliability, maintenance, turnaround, project management, or operations experience. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel and work extended hours during turnaround events as needed. Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to comply with the following:
Work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines and equipment. Climb ladders and stairs up to 200 feet in height. Lift and transport articles up to 50 pounds. Work around chemicals, including acids and bases. Work around hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat. Work outside in a range of weather conditions. Wear fire-retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes and eye and ear protection). Maintain a daily facial condition that allows a respirator or face mask to seal properly (for example, being free of facial hair where the mask seals).
Must possess or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
Associate’s degree or higher Experience in the natural gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or related energy industry. Prior experience leading contractors, turnaround teams, or cross-functional project groups. Professional certifications such as PMP, CSP, Six Sigma, or other relevant reliability or project management credentials. Advanced experience with quality assurance, continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision making.
