Job Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer II – Assembly is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing robust manufacturing assembly processes that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. This position requires a highly analytical engineer with a strong background in data-driven process development, statistical analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies. The successful candidate will lead process development initiatives, improve process capability through scientific experimentation, implement capital equipment, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement across assembly operations within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Please note : This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively “items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these regulations, it may be necessary for TE to verify a candidate’s national origin and/or citizenship status to determine whether a U.S. or other government export license is required prior to releasing its technologies to the candidate. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting complex assembly operations. Experience with DOE, OFAT, Cp/Cpk, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, and Process Validation. Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge. Experience leading capital equipment implementation projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Green
