The technologist must be proficient in all the areas of general diagnostic radiology, neuro and vascular interventional examinations in accordance with established protocols, as directed by the attending radiologist. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan. Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. Assesses data reflective of each patient s status and interprets information needed to identify each patient s age requirements relative to his/her age-specific healthcare needs.
