We are actively seeking a Federal Services Contract Manager to join our team in Reston, Virginia where you will balance customer needs, commercial judgment, and policy compliance to structure clear, executable agreements that drive long‑term success. As a Federal Services Contract Manager on our team, you will work in partnership with Microsoft’s sales teams and business groups to develop strategies for increasing Services revenue and accelerating customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Make empowered decisions on customer agreements, exercising sound business judgment. Negotiate services contract terms and conditions to close deals. Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and other business groups to design winning offers and deal constructs. Own the review, negotiation and approval of non-standard contract terms and non-standard contract documents. Drive business adherence to Services guidelines and policies. Ensure negotiation strategies for services adhere to established principles and standards and help adapt those principles to the evolving technology marketplace. Share best practices and coach sales teams to improve Microsoft’s deal-making capabilities and accelerate deal timelines. Other Embody our culture and values Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination. Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Software/Cloud Services industry consulting and support contract management experience with United States Federal Government preferred.
