Manager, Deal Management - Sonexus

What Deal Management contributes to Cardinal Health Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels.  The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. Deal Management owns the entire pre-deal process, including collaborating with sales to translate offer strategy into a customer-specific deal strategy and pricing, facilitating the deal approval process and related governance, and financial modeling of deal economics across a variety of scenarios.  This job family is also responsible for validating our contracts have the appropriate terms and conditions prior to finalizing the relationship.

Sonexus Access and Patient Support is a leading provider of patient access and support services.  Sonexus brings hub and pharmacy operations, clinical expertise and digital tools to provide critical patient support services that ease access to care. Support Sonexus by developing deals for existing and new business opportunities. Partners with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other key functions to create financial models for customer proposals, understand key drivers of profitability, and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management. Performs customer, program, and product profitability analysis. Identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, increase profitability, and limit potential risk from future changes in business or product mix. Understands market dynamics and competitors. Conducts complex analysis, synthesizes and summarizes implications to business, influencing business partners using analytics and business understanding. Facilitates the deal approval process to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Assist the contract administrator with ensuring that approved financials are incorporated into customer agreements. Serves as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company's assets. Ensures strong controls are in place and the company's intellectual property is protected. Client facing interactions, where applicable Drive key pricing initiatives within Sonexus (new go-to-market deal structures, technology and process improvements, etc).

5+ years of work in Finance, Revenue Management, Commercial and/or Strategy roles, preferred Bachelors degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience Knowledge of pharma economics, Specialty, or Manufacturer/HUB services preferred but not required Influential leader with track record of achieving results and the ability to clearly identify and communicate a vision and strategy Superb executive presence coupled with the ability to communicate to all levels and functions within the organization in order to influence senior leaders on key decisions Exceptionally strong Excel skills, ability to build and dive into a P&L, drive enhancements in technology Success in working closely with business and sales leaders on profit-generation strategies and introducing new approaches into the marketplace Strong personal drive to excel and set an example for teams across the organization Personal inquisitiveness to find opportunities to grow enterprise profitability Anticipated salary range:  $105,100 - $150,100 Bonus eligible:  No Benefits:  Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
