The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and providing clinical and technical support for Medtronic's Coronary portfolio. This role partners with interventional cardiologists, catheterisation laboratory teams, procurement stakeholders, and hospital management to improve patient outcomes while achieving commercial objectives. As an experienced member of the sales team, the Sales Representative demonstrates strong product expertise, clinical knowledge, and strategic account management capabilities. The role requires the ability to independently manage complex customer accounts, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value-based solutions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Sales & Business Development Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and business objectives for the Coronary product portfolio. Develop and execute territory business plans to maximise market penetration and revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to develop effective sales strategies. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide timely sales forecasts using LBE format Build and maintain long-term relationships with interventional cardiologists, Cath lab staff, hospital administrators, and purchasing departments. Develop strategic account plans for key hospitals and healthcare institutions. Lead contract discussions and support tender activities where applicable. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service and proactive engagement. Clinical & Technical Support and inventory management Provide clinical and technical support during coronary procedures, ensuring safe and effective product utilisation. Conduct product demonstrations, in-service education, and clinical training for healthcare professionals. Stay current on clinical evidence, product innovations, and treatment guidelines related to coronary interventions. Support physician adoption of new technologies and best clinical practices. Product & Market Expertise Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medtronic's Coronary portfolio, including indications, product features, and clinical benefits. Position products effectively against competitive offerings through evidence-based discussions. Gather customer insights and market intelligence to support business strategy and product development. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Clinical Specialists, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless customer support. Participate in product launches, marketing initiatives, and educational events. Share best practices and mentor less experienced sales representatives when appropriate. Compliance & Quality Conduct all business activities in accordance with Medtronic's Code of Conduct, quality standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
