Working together, let’s put our time and talents together to advance human health for tomorrow.     Learn about the   Danaher Business Syste m   which makes everything possible.   The Field Service Engineer provides on-site service, repair, and installation of our products, as well as technical support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance. This role involves customer communication and delivering technical service and problem resolution. The engineer performs diagnostics during system failures and determines the most cost-effective solutions. Complex issues are escalated to higher-level technical support or quality reporting systems as needed. Frequent travel by company vehicle is required, and compliance with the company’s vehicle safety program is mandatory.

Diagnose, repair, disassemble, reassemble, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment  in accordance with company repair processes to ensure proper operation. Install and service life science instruments (including billable services), perform qualification testing, and manage customer relationships, including maintenance contract sales, to contribute to business growth. Report necessary information related to product quality improvements to responsible engineers or quality teams. Required Qualifications and Experience Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, and approximately 2–3 years of experience in assembly, installation, maintenance, or servicing of machinery/equipment Graduate of a technical college, vocational school, or university Basic English skills (reading and writing), as manuals are in English Preferred Qualifications and Experience Experience as a field service engineer for analytical instruments Customer-facing experience Basic knowledge of GLP and GMP Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Depending on the assigned area, business travel including overnight stays (approximately 2–3 days per week on average) may be required A valid driver’s license is required Beckman Coulter Diagnostics ,   a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
