Mounter Trainee - Chattanooga Manufacturing GENERAL PURPOSE : Perform the necessary duties of plate preparation to ensure Flexographic jobs can be run on the press. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Learn to set up and operate mounter. Learning the skills necessary to operate assigned machinery. Responsible for prepping machine for the next production run. Evaluate production quality; bring concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in training other mounter personnel. Troubleshoot production issues that may arise. Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime is required. Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Must have basic computer skills. Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to maintain good attendance. Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods. Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
