Together, we are dedicated to turning the vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations for our guests.   The Royal Caribbean Group’s Legal Team has an exciting career opportunity for full- Lead, Care Management reporting to the AVP, Clinical Operations.   The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida   The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.   Position Summary: The Lead, Crew Population Health & Disease Prevention is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of fleet-wide population health initiatives focused on chronic disease prevention, health promotion, wellness, and preventive care strategies. This role is dedicated to optimizing crew health outcomes, reducing health-related risks, and supporting safe, sustainable maritime operations.  The Lead provides leadership and oversight for the Manila-based team of wellness nurses and works collaboratively with shipboard and shoreside Clinical Operations teams to ensure an integrated and effective approach to crew health and wellness. This position plays a key role in advancing the organization's global health strategy through preventive care, early intervention, health education, and data-driven population health programs.  Reporting to the AVP, Clinical Services, the Lead serves as a subject matter expert in population health management and preventive medicine while fostering a culture of health and wellbeing throughout the crew population.  This position is based in the Miami Corporate Office and requires periodic domestic and international travel (approximately 10-15%).    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Program Oversight

Establish program goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and outcome measures to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Monitor population health trends and evaluate program performance through data collection, analytics, and reporting.

Provide quarterly population health reports, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Identify crew members at elevated risk for medical debarkation and ensure timely escalation and coordination with Medical Operations and Risk Management teams.

Develop, maintain, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and workflows related to population health and disease prevention programs.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage the wellness nursing team, ensuring consistent delivery of care coordination services and program compliance.

Establish team goals, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities.

Foster collaboration between shipboard and shoreside clinical teams to support continuity of care and optimal health outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Medical Operations, Risk Management, Human Resources, Communications, Public Health, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of health initiatives.

Participate in multidisciplinary case review discussions involving active medical, complex, or litigated cases.

Champion innovation and continuous improvement in population health and disease prevention programs.
