Environmental Services / House Keeper - Floor Tech MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions. Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks in accordance with established work routines and under the directions of the Environmental Service Manager. Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance and repair to the physical plant, building, grounds and equipment. These tasks are performed under the general direction of the Plant Operations Director. Responsible for working to achieve excellence in total facility appearance. Responsible for working within safety structures while performing all tasks. Specialized Skills and Knowledge (List the minimum required specific knowledge and skills necessary to perform this job. (e.g., basic accounting principles, computer programming, spreadsheets, specific healthcare processes, etc. 1. The ability to read and implement written instructions and the ability to understand and implement oral instructions. 5. Ability to operate the floor machine, auto scrubber, vacuum, extraction equipment, washer, and dryer, lawn mowers, other gardening equipment and any other equipment necessary to perform the assigned task. 2. Knowledge in routine maintenance and complete floor care at a medical facility, including but not limited to carpeting, painting, masonry, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, general mechanics, and gardening. 6. Basic Computer skills 3. Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb a 6-foot ladder, lift up to 75 pounds and to withstand the physical strains from the use of all required equipment. 4. Ability to measure the proper solutions as related to the specific task.
