The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Material Handler I , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks Move material using pallet jacks Receive incoming goods Ship outgoing product To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public government or military environment Ability to pass company provided Forklift Training and retain issued forklift license. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment Powered Industrial Vehicle license Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process. Please note that applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with 3M.
