As a Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation Specialist (PHS&T) you will work on PHS&T related Engineering and strategic initiatives. In this role, you’re accountable for technical execution, cost and schedule, and identification and elevation of technical and schedule risks for program areas relating to PHS&T. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing tasks in the areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Sustainment Planning, Logistics Management, Training, and/or Technical Documentation.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement various container and packaging technical specifications and supplier Statements of Work. Apply systems engineering discipline to translate regulatory, military, commercial, and customer requirements into clear, testable, and traceable technical requirements for military containers and PHS&T-related equipment. Support requirement development, verification planning, supplier coordination, technical reviews, and compliance assessments to ensure delivered products meet operational, environmental, transportation, and customer needs. Perform trade studies and analyses pertaining to PHS&T. Assist in developing action plans to address key engineering focus areas regarding PHS&T. Provide technical support for program milestones and positively engaging to contribute to successful reviews and customer interchanges.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. Experience with engineering, logistics, sustainment, training, technical documentation, depot management and/or ordnance management. Proposal experience Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date .
Qualifications
