The Mortgage Marketing Manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in email marketing and social media and adapts them to effectively market mortgage products, optimizing and driving conversion. Effective communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas, as well as external vendor relationships. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of campaign managers, overseeing resource allocation and multi-project coordination to ensure the seamless execution and on-time delivery of marketing initiatives. Led the end-to-end strategy, content alignment, and execution of multi-campaign lead incubation email initiatives, collaborating with sales, Salesforce and creative teams to deliver highly targeted messaging to engage leads and drive sales conversion. Own and manage the Volly vendor relationship and share ownership of HomeStory, coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure efficient platform support and campaign alignment. Partnered with internal Salesforce partners as well as external partners to align platform capabilities with marketing objectives, optimizing data architecture and system integrations to maximize the performance and personalization of automated email journeys. Navigated complex project roadblocks through proactive problem-solving and cross-departmental alignment, successfully sourcing necessary resources and aligning competing priorities to accelerate campaign timelines. Develop key dashboards and communication plans to keep stakeholders aligned on project priorities and statuses, utilizing performance metrics to drive data-driven decisions, support team growth, and ensure strategic alignment. Manage Vendor/BAO responsibilities: Complete and approve BAO Performance Scorecard and the Relationship Risk Scorecard, CART, Third Party Management requirements, Monitor the delivery of services in accordance with established SLAs, Citi Requirements for Suppliers, and applicable laws and regulations and Perform required Third Party oversight activities in line with the relationship risk profile, Aravo Inherent Risk Questionnaire (IRQ), TPM process guidance, and inputs from partner groups, e.g., completing timely third-party worker entitlement reviews and terminations, reviewing reports and contracts, etc. Manage regulatory compliance for the email opt-out process, implementing rigorous control standards and process documentation to ensure all email opt outs are continuously monitored and compliant. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience Excellent planning, forecasting, reporting and analytical skills Knowledge of industry standards to engage and drive conversion through email and social media Successful budget management skills to maximize campaign strategy and success Expertise in vendor management Education: Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
