This is what you will do as an Associate Quality Engineer Maintenance We are looking for an Associate Quality Engineer Maintenance to join our Global Engineering & Technology Maintenance team in Leiden. In this role, you support quality processes within maintenance in a GMP-regulated environment. You will gain hands-on experience in investigations, documentation, and compliance, while working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities

Support compliance with GMP, company policies, and quality standards Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and CAPA activities Support root cause analyses using tools such as 5 Why and Ishikawa Review maintenance documentation after execution, including preventive and corrective maintenance Assess and process SAP notifications under supervision Act as a first point of contact for basic QA-related maintenance questions Support document management, including SOPs, work instructions, and training curricula Contribute to audit and inspection readiness Collaborate with Operations, QC, and QA to solve issues Identify risks and escalate in a timely manner The team The maintenance department at Johnson & Johnson is a dynamic mix of colleagues from different countries. Your profile

MBO-4 diploma in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field 0–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or other regulated environment Strong interest in quality and maintenance processes Basic knowledge of GMP and quality systems is a plus Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team Professional-level English language skills (written and spoken) are required.
