Reinsurance Property Specialty Broker

We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Reinsurance Speciality Property Broker to join our Property Specialty team in London. As a Reinsurance Speciality Property Broker, some of your main responsibilities may include: Work in direct support of Account Executive team in the development and marketing of reinsurance placements. Leading on presentations and analysis for markets and clients. Including technical reviews of (re)insurance portfolios and treaties. Leading analysis of data vital for the preparation of market submissions and presentations. Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers – collaborating closely with colleagues within other departments as necessary. Work collaboratively with placement brokers to structure, market and place reinsurance treaties. Support Account Executives to manage clients and win new business mandates. Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.

Your skills and expertise: Relevant experience in the Property Retrocession and Catastrophe Excess of Loss market for London-based and international clients. Strong reinsurance acumen in relation to the structuring and placement of reinsurance / retrocession property treaties. Client and delivery management. Excellent attention to detail. Great communication skills. Complex data analysis and review of complex (re)insurance portfolios. Good level of IT proficiency. Experience of working in a client-facing environment.
