Senior Logistics Project Manager

Do you want to shape the future of Red Bull’s global logistics network? As Senior Logistics Optimization Manager, you’ll drive strategic, data-driven initiatives across our global logistics organization. You’ll lead complex optimization projects, enhance our distribution network, establish performance frameworks, and support Red Bull subsidiaries in improving their logistics operations. By connecting analytical insights with pragmatic implementation, you’ll help build an efficient, resilient, sustainable, and scalable end-to-end supply chain.

STRATEGIC LOGISTICS PROJECTS You’ll lead strategic logistics optimization projects from initial scoping and planning through implementation and post-implementation review. You’ll define project objectives, milestones, resource requirements, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with the global logistics and broader business strategy. You’ll prepare recommendations and business cases for senior management and provide project leadership and coordination across the Logistics department. GLOBAL LOGISTICS NETWORK OPTIMIZATION You’ll lead regular, data-driven reviews of Red Bull’s global logistics network to identify optimization and risk-mitigation opportunities. Working closely with internal teams, subsidiaries, and external partners, you’ll steer the implementation of approved network changes and distribution concepts. You’ll develop and compare alternative distribution scenarios—such as central versus regional distribution centres, cross-dock concepts, and direct-to-customer flows—assessing their impact on cost, service, sustainability, resilience, and scalability. LOGISTICS PERFORMANCE & ANALYTICS You’ll define, standardize, and continuously improve the KPI landscape for the Logistics department in close collaboration with operational teams. Together with IT and the Global Data department, you’ll drive the development of reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics frameworks that enable fact-based decision-making. By translating complex datasets into clear insights, you’ll provide strategic recommendations to management and operational stakeholders. PROCESS OPTIMIZATION & IMPLEMENTATION You’ll analyse and refine logistics processes based on business requirements, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and performance. You’ll translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations, business cases, and implementation roadmaps and ensure that approved changes are delivered effectively. You’ll also contribute to improving project governance, prioritisation, communication, and tracking across logistics optimization initiatives. SUBSIDIARY & STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION As a key counterpart for Red Bull subsidiaries, you’ll support local teams in reviewing and enhancing their logistics setups, processes, performance, and KPIs. You’ll collaborate across functions to embed optimization initiatives within broader business operations and contribute to a harmonized and efficient global logistics landscape. By staying informed about industry developments and best practices, you’ll translate relevant trends into concrete improvement opportunities for Red Bull.

University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data or Business Analytics, or a comparable field. Excellent written and spoken English. At least seven years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management, including experience in a strategic role. Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional logistics or supply chain projects in an international environment.
