About the Team
Like every team at OpenAI, the Marketing team contributes to our broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. With that aim in mind, we are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI’s products and platform amongst our core audiences. We take a data-driven approach to understand our customers' needs and challenges, ensuring that their voices are reflected in product development and messaging. We then partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Comms, and Design teams to create a cohesive customer experience across all our channels. Our focus extends beyond just promoting product features; we aim to provide valuable insights and resources that help our users make the most out of AI technologies.

Develop Segment and Mission Campaigns: Turn OpenAI for Government’s priority audience segments into campaigns for relevant agencies and mission sets. Develop reusable content for government and partner audiences such as white papers, executive and solution briefs, use-case playbooks, videos, and decks. Lead Partner Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute joint campaigns with strategic partners, align go-to-market plans, amplify shared announcements, and strengthen OpenAI for Government’s position in priority markets. Develop and maintain government-focused demo materials: Partner with Government Solutions Engineering to maintain demos that bring priority mission workflows and product capabilities to life. Drive Action-Oriented Engagement: Generate qualified interest and pipeline while advancing thought leadership and community engagement. Define success metrics and use insights to improve performance. Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Bring together government stakeholders, OpenAI for Government, Global Affairs, Communications, Product, Legal, Policy, regional and creative teams, and agencies to move programs from brief through approval, launch, and measurement.
