Job Description
Join Wipro Technologies as a Data Engineer and be a key contributor to transforming our data architecture across multiple locations including Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and more. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as PySpark, Databricks, and Delta Lake with a strong focus on the Medallion Architecture to ensure efficient and robust data flow throughout the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams to translate complex data requirements into executable data solutions, while ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies. Beyond development, you will perform rigorous data quality validation, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to platform enhancement, ensuring optimal Spark job and cluster performance. The role demands hands-on expertise in cloud environments, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and AWS S3, alongside a strong command in distributed data processing and data warehousing concepts.
