Job Description
At Airbus Defense and Space, the domain 'Integration Test & Analysis' (TADVA) in Spain is looking for additional staff in the perimeter of Avionics/Mission/Nav Systems . The successful applicant will become part of TADVA2 team based in Getafe (although depending on program workload it may also require support to testing activities during short-mid periods of time in other sites as Seville, Manching, Air Force Bases, etc.) and will report to its manager, Mr. Ignacio Cortijo Vitoria. The COC 'Flight & Integration Test Center' in the engineering cluster 'Aircraft and Systems' from Airbus Defense and Space is responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of all integration test activities at subsystem, system and A/C level as well for analyzing test data and reporting results and providing the necessary evidence. In addition, it develops, produces, qualifies and supplies all the test means necessary to carry out all types of tests; not only for the integration tests under its own responsibility, but also to support the self-test activities in the early development phase or to carry out hardware and software tests before its integration. As of today, the main customers are the current aircraft programs A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, TDMS and Tornado, but in the very near future EuroMale, NGF and FCAS will also be part of it. We are currently looking for a Test Specialist ( mainly devoted to Avionics/Mission/Nav Systems ), within Integration Test & Analysis scope, for the Spanish perimeter of TADVA in Getafe site, who will help us to prepare, support, execute, analyze and report all related integration test activities at A/C level for AVIONICS, MISSION and NAV integration scope in accordance with the requirements of the program-specific V&V plans in a technical work environment with continuously increasing complexity. RESPONSIBILITIES
Within Test Integration & Analysis perimeter, the jobholder will act as Test Specialist for Avionics/Mission/Nav Systems , located in Getafe , covering A/C0 and Aircraft Ground & Flight integration test activities, reporting directly to Team Leader (TADVA2), H/O Test Integration & Analysis (TADVA) and Test Program managers. Support Integrated Test Team forum within activities scope. Support for development, certification, qualification and production activities according to Test Program requirements. Ensure & support appropriate V&V strategy for these activities. Follow-up of test progress. Participate in the elaboration of Test planning; Review, optimize and challenge Test Requests. Coordinate with Test Framework and instrumentation domain to define proper means for required data reduction, monitoring and analysis. Interface with DO, AW and certification authorities, supporting test activities on certification meetings, write Certification/Qualification Cards and test plans and Certification/Qualification Test Reports. Assistance to Flight Test Engineer in preparation of Flight Test or simulator sessions: Supporting FTE to write and/or prepare flight test order ; Follow test in telemetry and provide safety monitoring when needed; Follow-up and provide expertise of test data reduction and detailed analysis; Organization of external Flight Test campaigns. Interface and coordination with Test Integrators, Design Offices, Chief Engineering Office and Program Offices. Provide expertise to system architecture and design definition for Avionics & Mission Systems integration Provide analysis and validation support of A/C limitations Write and/or analyze Snags providing the rationale for its closure or requesting design modifications Optimize test data analysis
