Summary We're seeking a mission-driven Physician to join Curana Health and make a meaningful impact in an Inpatient Rehabilitation facility. In this role, you'll serve as the attending physician for rehabilitation patients, delivering high-quality, goal-oriented care that maximizes functional recovery and supports safe transitions back to the community. You'll build strong relationships with the interdisciplinary rehab team, champion patient-centered care plans, and play a vital role in improving outcomes for patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, and other complex diagnoses. This position offers the autonomy of private practice with the resources, stability, and growth opportunities of a leading healthcare organization dedicated to transforming patient care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, evidence-based inpatient rehabilitation care, including completing admission history and physicals and conducting daily rounds for all assigned patients. Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) conferences, collaborating with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, case management, and nursing to drive individualized rehabilitation goals. Manage complex medical needs of rehab patients, ensuring compliance with CMS Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) admission criteria and documentation requirements. Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage patient visits and ensure continuity and clinical excellence across the patient census. Oversee APP performance, serving as a mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across your team. Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in functional outcomes and patient satisfaction. Serve as a trusted advocate for patients, championing their recovery goals and care preferences throughout their stay.
