Job Summary
The Tax Accountant will be working under the general supervision of the tax management team and other senior staff. This position assists the tax team with the company’s annual provision, federal and state tax compliance, and other tax matters.

Job Function • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, including supporting workpapers and reconciliations. • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740), including supporting schedules. • Analyze financial data and transactions to assess tax implications, risks, and opportunities. • Support international and multi-state tax compliance (e.g., Forms 5471/8858, foreign tax credits, Subpart F/GILTI). • Maintain and reconcile tax fixed asset records, including book-to-tax differences, depreciation calculations, and support for provision for provision and compliance schedules. • Perform technical tax research and document conclusions on federal, state, and international tax matters. • Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and extension calculations. • Assist with tax audits, controversy matters, and responses to federal and state notices. • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments to gather data and provide tax-related guidance. • Utilize tax technology and contribute to process improvements, automation, and data management initiatives. SUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management. Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in progress in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation or accounting preferred • Working knowledge of ASC 740 and GAAP • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to document tax positions clearly • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
