Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our team! This role is responsible for analyzing our $36M annual utility expense plan between direct and landlord across our store and non-store portfolio. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with several third-party resources to ensure process controls around bill payment. You will also track consumption for Annual Impact reporting requirements. A successful candidate should be analytical, organized, and able to communicate well. Responsibilities
Financial Facilitate direct utilities payment via 3rd party utility payment processor & AP. Prepare annual store level budgets for direct and landlord utilities across several cycles. Ensure procurement activities are factored into budgets and forecast accordingly. Provide forecast variance analytics vs plan. Track escrow adjustments and year end invoices related to landlord utilities. Manage fiscal month end responsibilities, verifying P&L accuracy. Complete account reconciliations timely with a strong understanding of account aging. Consumption Provide monthly usage by commodity by store for Annual Impact Reporting. Collaborate with ESG team to meet reporting requirements. Support collecting green certificates related to deregulated contracts as needed. Identify high usage outliers and partner with utility analyst to research. Assist Facilities on impact of energy reducing capital projects (LED, HVAC, EMS). Other responsibilities Collaborate within the Utilities Finance Team and across the broader organization. Visually present data in an easy to digest format for audience. Prepare and present accurate, well-supported financial analysis and ad hoc reporting. Deliver completed assignments within the specified time frame.
Qualifications
