Integration Test Engineer - ATM Location: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, Hampshire Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance We are looking for an Integration Tester to join our team to help us deliver a large-scale systems integration programme. As part of a multi discipline team the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, writing and execution of test cases, as assigned by the Test Lead. The successful candidate will interface with multiple teams, and with Customer stakeholders to create and execute tests. The role will require the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team, ranging from technical personnel to programme leadership. The role includes executing tests across a variety of software products, their interfaces and network & infrastructure configurations, and identifying and managing resulting defects. What will I be doing? Generating Test Cases by reviewing of requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs, suppliers and stakeholders Documenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issues Investigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution Analysing data, large datasets and test evidence from suppliers to show compliance to requirements Identifying improvements in new and existing processes What does Leidos need from me? ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week Excellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration Testing Proven track record in developing Software solutions using 1st (1GL) through 3rd (3GL) generation languages (e.g. ADA 83/95, C, C++) Proven Experience using Waterfall and V model development models Proven experience delivering solutions on Linux type operating systems Experience of using development environments related to 1GL through 3GL generation Languages Able to estimate and plan own immediate tasks and manage their completion Good oral and written communication skills, confident in technical and non-technical discussions Good time management and organisational skills – ability to work with minimal supervision Enthusiastic, proactive, troubleshooting attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies Experience of creating Test Cases based on requirements and design documents Preferred Experience Experience of Other Software Development Techniques like Agile development (e.g. Scrum) Experience of delivering real-time and/or safety-related software Knowledge of modelling languages (e.g. SysML, UML) Knowledge of procedural and object orientated software development languages (e.g. Ada, C, C++ & Java) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python) Knowledge of COTS integration technologies (e.g. Apache) Working with large-scale and complex integration programmes Experience with service oriented architecture ATM knowledge would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite What we do for you: At Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success, UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
