In Technology Strategy and Transformation – Digital Core we help our clients shape their technological vision and execute on their digital and technology agenda. Working with the C-Suite and boards of directors, we combine one hand in technology and one hand in the business to turn their investments into exceptional, sustainable value. The Technology M&A team helps clients navigate the technology implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and joint ventures. We focus on post-signing activities — sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, integration and separation planning, TSA strategy and exit — delivered through Integration and Separation Management Offices (IMO/SMO), helping clients realize transaction value while managing technology risks and operational dependencies.

Type of work (examples, not exhaustive) Lead large-scale Technology M&A programs across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and joint ventures. Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior technology executives on transaction-related technology decisions. Lead sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, integration planning, separation planning, TSA strategy and TSA exit execution. Oversee IMO and SMO governance, execution and value realization activities. Define technology integration and separation strategies across applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, ERP and operating models. Drive synergy identification, value capture, risk mitigation, and transaction execution planning. Lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams and provide overall engagement leadership, quality assurance and stakeholder management. Build executive-level business cases, steering committee materials and transformation roadmaps. Support business development, proposal creation, thought leadership and practice growth initiatives, mentoring managers and consultants. Technology Domain Experience Practical experience in at least one of the following domains, understanding how they evolve during M&A transactions, integrations and separations: IT Infrastructure & Cloud — infrastructure integration/separation, cloud migration & operating model, data center, network, hosting and end-user computing, TSA planning and exit. ERP — SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar; integration, harmonization, migration or carve-out, incl. business process, reporting, controls and data migration impacts. Enterprise Architecture & IT Operating Model Transformation — target-state design, application portfolio rationalization, technology roadmaps, IT operating model and governance during integrations/separations. MBA from a Tier 1 institute preferred; bachelor's degree completed (Engineering careers plus). High proficiency of English (level C1 required). 12–18 years of consulting, deal advisory, technology advisory, transformation or industry experience. Demonstrated experience leading Technology M&A transactions and large-scale integration or separation programs. Strong experience across sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, integration/separation planning, TSA strategy, and IMO/SMO leadership. Experience in at least one domain: IT Infrastructure & Cloud, ERP, or Enterprise Architecture & IT Operating Model Transformation. Proven ability to originate opportunities, contribute to sales pursuits and support practice growth.
