POSITION
SUMMARY : As a Recruiter at Marathon Petroleum, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, engaging, and securing top talent to drive our company’s growth and success. The Recruiter manages the full recruitment cycle, from partnering with internal stakeholders to identifying a quality candidate, to sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens and interviews, and extending offers. It is important to have a keen eye for talent, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset that ensures we build a high-performing team aligned with our company's values and goals. This opening will be aligned to our Midstream recruiting team where we support recruiting efforts for a multitude of business components that include, but are not limited to the following: Logistics and Storage, Marine, Terminals, Pipeline, Natural Gas & Natural Gas Liquids, and Transport and Rail. *This position is part of a job progression with increasing levels of responsibility, competency, and skill. The title and pay grade of the position will be determined by the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. ** This role offers a hybrid work schedule, but the person must be based in either Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, presentation, debriefing, offer negotiation, and ensuring a positive experience. Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, providing a consultative approach and representing the company's values Performs effective recruitment strategies using various recruiting methods to attract diverse candidates. Assess candidates through resume screening and phone interviews to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles. Manages timely communication and engagement throughout the recruitment process. Maintains current and accurate applicant record information and data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring compliance, data privacy, and confidentiality requirements. Monitors recruitment metrics and performance indicators to drive a positive stakeholder experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Four (4) years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or relevant Client Management experience required. Prior experience in petroleum, utilities, manufacturing or related fields preferred. As an energy industry leader, our career opportunities fuel personal and professional growth.
