You will be part of a team responsible for the execution and confirmation of quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on the aircraft structure and mechanical systems Meet the Team: Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety – along flowlines and flightlines. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Document the technical inspections performed in the multiple production orders SAP-based and the relevant SAL-based IT systems by inspection marks and complete other aircraft documents as well as prepare first article inspection reports. Support troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures(FTPs) and participate in Quality Survey requests. Compile all technical data of non-conformance in order to launch the NCMS-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation. Document all the results of the technical inspector in the FLEXNET/NCMS/SAP based IT system. Attain skills to perform audits of Non-Conformance Rework Orders as part of the Material Review Board (MRB). Perform audits/reviews of workbooks to validate PV approval and process adherence. Track and maintain components during the Non Conformance process. Perform other duties as assigned Your Boarding Pass: High school diploma or GED. 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on mechanical and/or structural components
