We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications to join India CoE-Integration & Engg CAT IT Division We are seeking a mid-level to senior Power BI Developer with strong dashboard UI/UX expertise to design and deliver high-impact, intuitive analytics experiences for business stakeholders within Caterpillar Financial Insurance Services (CFIS). This role sits within the BI, Data, and AI team and is responsible for end-to-end dashboard development — from business requirements and wireframing through semantic model alignment, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and performance optimization. The developer will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our library of 18+ key dashboards and 100+ governed reports that drive financial, operational, and strategic decision-making across the insurance division. The preference for this role is to be based out of   Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN What you will do End-to-End Dashboard Development: Own the full lifecycle of Power BI report and dashboard development — requirements gathering, wireframe/mockup creation, data model alignment, DAX measure authoring, Power Query transformations, visual design, user acceptance testing, and production deployment. Ensure every deliverable is accurate, fast, and easy to consume.  Financial & Operational Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards that support key insurance business functions including policy administration, claims analysis, premium reporting, loss ratios, dealer solutions metrics, pricing analytics, and operational KPIs. Understand the business context behind the data and translate it into actionable, self-explanatory visualizations.  Semantic Model & Certified Data Source Alignment: Work closely with data modelers and the ETL team to consume governed, business-friendly semantic views published from Snowflake. Ensure Power BI semantic models (formerly datasets) are properly aligned with certified definitions — consistent field naming, correct relationships, and optimized for DirectQuery or Import mode depending on the use case. UI/UX Design & Visualization Best Practices: Apply a user-centered design mindset to produce accessible, consistent, and visually compelling dashboards that drive adoption. Follow established CFIS design standards for layout, color schemes, navigation (drill-through, drill-down, bookmarks, tabs), and accessibility. Create reusable templates and visual
