Summary
The Production Tech position performs the processing of cooked meat products under the supervisor and direction of the RTE Supervisor. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Maintain Mult ivac Controls, Change Film, Label Verification, Conveyor Belt Checks, Record OPS Data, Tool Accountability 2.Performs the careful handling of both cold and hot cooked meat products in a fast-paced environment. 3. Labeling, boxing and stacking finished products. 4. Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time. 4. Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of a company approved frock, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold temperatures as low as 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The floors in the environment are often wet and can be slippery. The noise level in the environment is considerable at times.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent use/motion of hands, wrists and arms are required The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
Position
Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. 40+ hours Monday through Friday Start time 6am and finish time varies depending on workload. 10 – 12-hour workdays are common. Weekends and overtime hours are often required. Schedule is subject to change with or without advance notice. Preferred Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or GED. 2.
