To support our growth and increasing number of projects within the Medical Devices industry we’re looking for a Key Account Manager - Medical Devices to expand our dynamic team. Role and Responsibilities: Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, which includes traveling to customer locations to create and solidify relationships, determining specific customer needs, and learning application and business requirements. Your focus is to establish a solid network and strong business relations with existing and potential growth customers Identify and prioritize short- and long-term objectives for your existing and target customers. Establish annual strategic plan for major target accounts that aligns with the overall business unit strategy. Sell new products and technologies as they become available, utilizing customized product solutions. Continually seek opportunities to promote new technical concepts, applications, and/or products and services. Plan and manage all sales responsibilities to optimize sales and profits consistent with business objectives. Initiate, participate in, and direct presentations, negotiations, business proposals, product demonstrations, and other communications designed to drive sales. Develop and utilize sound technical understanding of company products, technologies, and capabilities to aid in the selling process and project management. Prepare implementation plans and lead client on-boarding, present content strategy and long-term plan. You will generate and manage quotations, contract reviews, and project activities in close collaboration with our internal supporting teams (engineering, legal, quality,..) TRAVEL: Up to 25% within Europe Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of technical sales, most desirably in medical or medical device You are a self-starter, able to work autonomously and willing to travel within Europe (25%). You are fluent in English (written and verbal). This position is based in our office in Leuven-Heverlee (Belgium).
Preferred Qualifications
You have a Material Science / Engineering degree with strong commercial experience. Your passion for technology and your common sense is considered equally valuable. You have at least 5 years of experience in long term project sales. You are able to conduct business in French. You are an outgoing, proactive and sales minded person, eager to grow and develop the market in your region. You are a well-prepared, door-opening relationship-builder and natural born networker. You combine team spirit with drive and positive attitude, are solution oriented and knows how to align external demands and internal resources to build long term business relations. You demonstrate project and account management skills as you will be playing a
