The Senior Space Merchandise Planner for Bath & Body Works is responsible for leading a team of space analysts through the daily support of category management with specific focus to Sku and Assortment rationalization, Minimum presentation quantity assessment, and creation of visual support documents for stores. Reports to Manager of Space Planning. Leads 3-4 Space Analysts. Must possess the ability to: Responsibilities • Lead the management and influence of holistic sku count strategy for total shop both in stores and online for both in season and preseason strategic deliverables. • Oversee Space Analyst team and their involvement with category teams, magazine creation process, Minimum Presentation Qualities and Floorset management processes. • Highlight the business opportunities and risks associated with the current financial position and actual performance of the business based on sku count and visual presentation in stores. • Dual Channel, translating complex analyses into clear, concise, and actionable storylines. • Maintain a strong pulse on category and collection performance and key storylines, ensuring a consistent and cohesive narrative across all executive level materials. • Provide the leadership and the necessary formal and informal training, including one-on-one development, needed to support a team that contributes consistent financial growth to the business. • Exhibit flexibility by supporting additional Central Planning projects as business needs evolve and timelines shift. • Actively pursuing growth and development opportunities, continually finding ways to improve • Communicate openly and directly; accept responsibility and champion ideas despite challenges • Champion change and demonstrating flexibility • Encourage innovation, creativity and risk-taking through influence in teams • Foster teamwork by building strong relationships across functional and division lines • Set high personal performance standards that deliver results, convey a sense of urgency and passion for the business, and help achieve goals despite obstacles Qualifications Qualifications • 5-7+ years retail planning or relevant business experience, with previous space planning and visual systems a plus • Proven ability to be a collaborative partner across multiple departments • Organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize and meet deliverables • Advanced technical skill proficiency using Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint • Advanced technical skill proficiency in MSI, Visual Systems, Relex; other retail planning systems experience • Data curious; ability to learn, create, and trouble shoot highly technical reporting, severs, and AI capabilities • Experience creating and troubleshooting TSQL processes from a variety of data sources a plus Education • Bachelor's degree - finance, operations, economics, business, statistics a plus Core Competencies Drives Results Action Oriented Collaborates Decision Making Nimble Learning Benefits Feeling good starts with you.
