Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Mentors junior employees. We are seeking a Casualty Auto Coverage Adjuster to join our team! This role is responsible for investigating and analyzing auto liability claims to determine policy coverage. This role requires interpreting complex policy language, identifying coverage issues, and making sound coverage determinations. We are open to candidates in the eastern and central time zone states. Key Responsibilities • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases • Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority • For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. #LI-KR1   Skills Analytical Thinking, Automobile Accidents, Bodily Injury Claims, Case Management, Claims Administration, Claims Resolution, Claims Review, Coverage Analysis, Coverage Litigation, Customer Service, De-Escalation, Demand Letters, Insurance, Insurance Claims Investigations, Insurance Investigation, Insurance Policies, Negotiation, Personal Injuries, Personal Injury Claims, Relationship Management   Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is: BI Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $86,400 BI Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250 BI Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 -$117,700 Annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
