TE Connectivity is an independent publicly traded company whose common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “TEL.”  See www.te.com   Overview Responsible for sourcing of raw material and components for the production at our plant for Optics products by establishing a reliable, flexible, innovative, high-quality, and productive supply base to create a competitive advantage for us in the market.   Responsibilities •    Develop commodity strategies aligned with business objectives. •    Identify and develop new suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams. •    Optimize the supplier base to enhance efficiency and quality. •    Conduct RFQs for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects. •    Negotiate master purchasing contracts, Quality Assurance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consignment contracts, etc., with suppliers. •    Drive cost reduction initiatives through comprehensive cost analysis, market data evaluation, and negotiation. •    Collaborate with engineering teams to lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) projects. •    Coordinate cross-functional efforts to achieve project
