Specialist, Shareholder Services Representative II

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Shareholder Services Representative II to join our BNY Wealth team. This role is located in New York, NY.

Provide service and sales support across mutual funds, brokerage/managed accounts, and annuity/insurance business to help advisors focus on client development and sales efforts Support new account onboarding by preparing and processing account documentation and assisting clients through the onboarding process Respond to complex client, shareholder, and fund-related inquiries by phone, email, and other channels with timely, accurate, and high-quality service Process complex shareholder account updates and resolve operational or service issues by working directly with clients, transfer agents, and external partners Serve as an escalation point for junior team members, provide guidance on complex issues, and may review the work of other staff Research and resolve complex operational and shareholder issues, routing unresolved matters to the appropriate team in accordance with documented procedures Support compliance-related activities by ensuring procedures and regulatory requirements are followed and assisting management with related tasks Provide regular updates on issue resolution and outstanding matters, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to overall team objectives and efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience required; financial services experience preferred Series 6 and 63 licenses required Series 7 must be obtained within 90 days of hire Strong service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, systems, and organizational skills Flexible team player with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
