Summary : We will train for this role and this role offers a $2,000 Sign on Bonus upon successful completion of hands on training provided on-site after 90 days and $2000 retention bonus once candidate completes 1 year of service in the new role. The Entry Level Valve Technician will be trained for assembling (disassembly) valve/packing cases and inspecting all items that come into the Valve shop.
Responsibilities during the mentorship
Assemble (disassembly) valves/packing cases correctly and in a timely manner. Test all valves and packing cases according to company procedures. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Participate in company Lean and 5S initiatives
Skills
Ability to learn basic blueprint reading Ability to learn various micrometers: Calipers, OD-ID Micrometers. Depth micrometers. Ability to solve problems based on limited standards. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education and Experience
HS diploma or related job experience Manufacturing background..
