In this role, you’re expected to: The Central AI Operations Assistant Vice President will play a critical role in overseeing and delivering the Investor Operations AI book of work, ensuring effective coordination, governance, and scaling of AI initiatives across the organization. This role supports the central authority across Investor Operations AI activity—aligning use cases, driving consistency in delivery, and enabling reuse of AI capabilities at scale. The individual will guide how AI solutions are designed and implemented, while ensuring alignment with enterprise platforms, standards, and regulatory expectations. A key expectation is strong technical fluency in AI tools, models, and architectures , enabling credible challenge and effective partnership with engineering and data science teams.
Key Responsibilities
AI Book of Work Delivery Support and manage the end-to-end Investor Operations AI book of work Drive prioritisation, execution, and measurable value delivery Identify overlapping use cases and enforce consolidation and reuse Track delivery progress, outcomes, and adoption AI Solution Oversight Support and challenge on AI solution design, model selection, and implementation approaches Guide the use of AI techniques (ML, NLP, LLMs, IDP) against business problems Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure practical, scalable solutions Cross-Team Alignment & Enablement Support the central coordinator across Investor Operations AI initiatives Connect teams with similar use cases to maximise reuse of models and components Drive adoption of enterprise AI tools and platforms (IDP, AI, Enterprise capabilities) Promote standardised approaches and best practices Model Risk Management & Governance Support MRM submissions and engagement at Investor Operations level Ensure all AI solutions meet governance, validation, and regulatory requirements Embed strong controls across model lifecycle (development to monitoring) Transformation & Scaling Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through AI Support rollout across teams, functions, and regions As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: AI & Technical Expertise (Essential) Strong practical understanding of: Machine learning (classification, regression, clustering) NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs) Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Solid knowledge of how AI solutions are built and deployed: Data pipelines, feature engineering, model training Model evaluation (accuracy, precision/recall, drift) Deployment patterns (APIs, batch vs real-time) Experience with: Python-based ecosystems LLM architectures (prompting, RAG) Enterprise or cloud AI platforms Ability to credibly engage with and challenge engineers
