A Day in the Life This internship will be part of the Information Hospital Systems (IHS) department, a team with more than 10 years of experience in defining, designing, and implementing services and digital solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and operational excellence of hospital services. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Digital Health – Hospital Information Systems team, whose mission is to design, implement, and continuously develop digital solutions that support and optimize the entire patient care pathway. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about Medtronic IHS digital tools and software solutions, gaining insight into how they support hospital efficiency and operational excellence. You will also develop an understanding of hospital information systems and the interoperability standards that allow these systems to connect effectively with enterprise platforms. Internship details: -Start date: preferably 15th August / September 1st -Location: Madrid, Spain -Duration: 12 months (extendable + 6 months) -Working hours: 40h/h -Work model: hybrid -Internship agreement Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: -Support digital health projects related to hospital information systems -Assist in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of software solutions used in healthcare settings -Help design dashboards and analyze data to support decision-making -Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and hospital stakeholders -Contribute to the customization of solutions based on customer and project needs -Gain practical experience in healthcare IT systems and interoperability Required Knowledge and Skills: -Recently graduated or in the final year of Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or other related technical field -Fluency in Spanish and English -Knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent solutions -Knowledge of healthcare IT environments and interoperability standards -Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Jira, or similar platforms -Basic programming knowledge Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
