As a Facilities Engineering Manager  – Level 2, your role at Promontory, UT, will be pivotal in supporting mission-critical to national and global security.   Ready to join forces with our visionary team?    The qualified candidate must be able to lead an engineering group to effectively meet plant requirements for safety and quality as well as the program requirements for cost and schedule.  Technical, project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are strongly needed. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Your Role and Impact: Proven project management background for large fabrication/construction-related efforts Experience recruiting and managing a team of engineers across programs. Excellent problem-solving skills are a must, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams in resolving complex technical issues (product and processing equipment). Sound financial understanding, including capital management and make/buy decision processes. Experience with production manufacturing systems preferred Knowledge of and experience with solid rocket motor manufacturing and processing   Other duties as assigned Why you? Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience.   Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Must have 3 - 6 years of managerial, lead, or supervisory experience Experience managing a team of engineers across disciplines. Excellent problem-solving skills are a must, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams in resolving complex technical issues (product and processing equipment). Sound financial understanding, including capital management and make/buy decision processes. Experience with propellant/explosives. In-depth knowledge and experience with both high-hazard and inert processes is required. Knowledge of configuration management. Working knowledge of CAD systems – AutoCAD preferred Strong Facilities Engineering background highly desired   Preferred Qualifications:    Computer skills using MS software – Microsoft Project knowledge desired Knowledge and understanding of EPLM, Maximo, Costpoint and Cognos Knowledge of hazardous location requirements and standards Experience communicating with stakeholders to determine scope, schedule, requirements, etc. for projects Project Management Skills Experience in creating and reviewing initial project estimates Developing standards and/or best practices Ability to monitor and align team members to schedule tasks to meet the schedule priorities of the company Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment As a
