Senior Sales Specialist - Cloud & AI (Azure)

Lead Azure Cloud & AI growth across Enterprise financial-services accounts. Advise senior leaders, shape secure transformation strategies, and close complex opportunities spanning AI, data, and infrastructure.   Orchestrate Microsoft teams and partners to deliver measurable customer outcomes while addressing security, sovereignty, compliance, and operational resilience.   Own high-value Azure opportunities from qualification to close.   Build trusted CxO relationships and shape transformation agendas.   Drive revenue, consumption, adoption, and customer success.

You will own the sales strategy and execution for Azure Cloud & AI across assigned FSI accounts.    Lead Customer Transformation  Own complex Azure AI, data, infrastructure, migration, and modernization opportunities.  Advise CxO and senior technology leaders on business value, risk, and execution.  Build trusted relationships and convert customer priorities into actionable account strategies.  Align account teams, Customer Success, solution experts, delivery teams, and partners through close and handoff.    Sales Excellence and Pipeline Management  Build and maintain a qualified pipeline that supports revenue and consumption goals.  Lead reviews, improve forecast accuracy, and act early on adoption or renewal risks.  Use customer, usage, and market signals to prioritize whitespace and expansion.  Apply AI, automation, and Power Platform tools to increase selling capacity.    Sales Strategy and Business Development  Lead discovery, qualification, and executive alignment to accelerate decisions.  Differentiate Microsoft through security, sovereignty, trust, and integrated innovation.  Shape focused account plans using market intelligence and AI-driven insights.    Technical and Industry Expertise for Financial Services  Translate Azure AI, data, and infrastructure capabilities into business outcomes.  Embed financial-services requirements for security, data residency, sovereignty, compliance, and resilience.  Champion responsible AI and secure-by-design solutions.  Lead virtual teams through influence and clear accountability.  Coach peers, share winning practices, and improve FSI sales plays.

Required   Significant experience selling cloud, AI, data, analytics, or comparable technology solutions to large enterprises.   Proven ownership of complex, high-value sales cycles and senior stakeholder relationships.   Working knowledge of Azure or another hyperscale cloud, with the ability to communicate business and technical value.   Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.   Fluent Dutch and English Preferred   Proven experience in enterprise technology sales or account management.   FSI experience across banking, insurance, or capital markets.   Knowledge of DORA, GDPR, EBA, or DNB guidance for cloud adoption.   Relevant Azure or AI certifications and partner co-sell experience.   Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 95,700.00 - € 162,300.00 per year.
