About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Accounting & Controllership to lead costing activities and provide critical financial insights that support commercial operations and strategic business decisions. In this role, you will drive cost optimization initiatives, strengthen financial controls, ensure costing accuracy, and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to improve business performance across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Supervisor, Accounting & Controllership , you'll be responsible for: Leading and standardizing costing processes across commercial sites to ensure consistency and accuracy. Reviewing and validating standard costs, cost roll-ups, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, labor rates, and overhead allocations. Supporting new product introductions through costing analysis and financial evaluations. Analyzing cost variances and identifying opportunities for cost improvement and operational efficiencies. Strengthening inventory controls and ensuring accurate inventory valuation and manufacturing cost reporting. Supporting month-end close activities related to manufacturing costs and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Monitoring material productivity, purchase price variances (PPV), usage variances, scrap, and material efficiency metrics. Identifying and validating cost reduction opportunities while tracking financial benefits and savings. Acting as a finance business partner to Operations and Commercial teams by providing financial analysis and recommendations. Developing dashboards, reports, and insights to improve visibility of cost performance and support decision-making. Driving best practices, process improvements, and standardization initiatives across sites.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, results-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about driving operational excellence through financial insights. If this is you, get in touch. As a minimum you must have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or Financial Analysis. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of standard costing, BOMs, inventory valuation, and variance analysis. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Engineering teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Although Not Necessary, It Would Be Nice If You Have: Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations. Advanced reporting and dashboard development skills using business intelligence tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, productivity initiatives, or cost optimization programs.
