Profile description

The actual market trends and technology evolution put AI at the center of any new initiative of our customers. SAP Strategy with AI First, Suite First put AI as a priority for our new Consultants.

SAP Business Technology Platform is the foundation for extending, innovating, and embedding AI capabilities across the Suite while preserving a Clean Core. The SAP BTP Senior Consultant with AI orientation combines strong technical expertise with business consulting capabilities to help customers accelerate their digital transformation.

This role requires the ability to design and deliver SAP BTP solutions and Max/Advanced Services engagements, leveraging AI-enabled technologies and best practices. The consultant must be capable of understanding customer objectives, analyzing business processes, identifying transformation opportunities, and translating business requirements into scalable, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

Expectations and tasks

Review traditional business processes and identify opportunities to improve them by embedding AI/Agentic AI

Ability to translate business processes into AI-driven solutions combining SAP BTP services, data, and user experience (Fiori/Joule/Mobile)

Responsible for implementing solutions based on the usage of the some of the following SAP solutions:

SAP BTP: development of CAP applications using various BTP services

SAP Fiori on BTP and Fiori for S/4HANA

SAP Build Work Zone Standard and Advanced editions

SAP Build Process Automation

SAP BTP AI Core and/or Joule Studio would be a plus

Ensure successful communication, deployment and adoption of SAP strategy in every delivery which includes the next 4 imperatives:

Joule as the new AI user experience.

Embedded and extensible AI in every business process.

Bold, high-value Industry AI applications.

Adoption of our suite through RISE and GROW with our AI-powered tool chain and our modernized Services portfolio

Provide knowledge transfer to project and customer teams on SAP BTP solutions.

Stay current on SAP BTP trends and best practices

Willingness and capable to develop skills on new technologies autodidactic and in parallel with daily work

Design of intuitive, role-based user experiences (Fiori, Mobile, Joule).

Lead AI discovery workshops

Define use cases with business stakeholders

Education and Basic Qualifications

Graduate level with bachelor’s in information systems, Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent degree.

Post grade degree in Data Science or AI would be a plus

SAP Certified - Solution Architect - SAP BTP (Preferred)

Work Experience

3+ years of experience working with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementations with a UX role

3+ years of experience working with SAP BTP

1+ years working with AI SAP or non-SAP

Communication skills are very important for the role

Hands-on experience applying AI in business scenarios (SAP or non-SAP)

Technical skills

The candidate should have proven knowledge and skills in the following areas:

SAP Fiori is a must as well as BTP knowledge. BTP and/or any Fiori/SAPUI5 Certification would be a plus

All or many of the following BTP skills are a must: Onboarding, Account/Subaccount creation, BAS, CAP, Cloud foundry, Kyma Runtime, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Build Process automation

HTML5/Javascript/SAPUI5 is a must

SAP Joule and/or Generative AI applied to improve business user experience is a plus

SAP AI Core, SAP Joule
